It Is Important For LPSK, If Bharada E Becomes A Justice Collaborator, His Statement Must Be Consistent During Handling

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) assessed that Bharada E's statement to obtain a Justice Collaborator (JC) could reveal the bright side of the case of Brigadier J's death which was found at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house, Duren Tiga Police Complex, South Jakarta, some time ago.

In addition, according to LPSK, Bharada E's statement also needs special attention from the Police. In addition, Bharada E also felt brave to do a concrete explanation, and certainly different from previous disclosures to LPSK for JC purposes.

"We heard that the National Police Chief said yesterday that one of Bharada E's motivations for opening this case was because he wanted to be a Justice Collaborator," said LPSK Deputy Chair Edwin Partogi Pasaribu, Thursday, August 11.

Edwin again said, Bharada E's decision to submit information to fulfill the requirements of his application to apply JC.

He also hopes that the information explained by Bharada E is required to remain consistent throughout the process of handling the flow of the case.

Thus, the importance of protecting Bharada E is not only urged to focus on the issue of his safety, but also with his statement.

"The protection of Bharada E is important as JC is not only a matter of his safety but also to maintain his consistency in presenting statements to court," he explained.

It should be noted that after several meetings for the purpose of applying for protection to the LPSK, Bharada E often explained different statements.

Bharada E, he continued, should have delivered information that was in accordance with the incident, and not from another realm.

"Before we checked Bharada E 5 times, up to 5 times he was consistent with the old information," said Edwin, Thursday, August 11.

After the sixth meeting, still said Edwin, Bharada E explained a different statement from the previous five meetings.

Edwin felt that the last information he gave had a strong connection with the results of the investigation from the police.

Thus, the latest information submitted by Bharada E will be used as additional information for a deeper investigation process.
