Anies' Signature Makes Transjakarta-MRT-LRT Integration Tariffs A Maximum Of IDR 10 Thousand

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued Governor's Decree Number 733 of 2022 concerning the Amount of Mass Public Transportation Service Tariff Packages.

This gubernatorial decree regulates the tariff for the integration of Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta transportation modes to a maximum of Rp. 10 thousand.

"The tariff package for mass public transportation services is applied to trips using 2 or more mass public transportation services/modes. The mass public modes in question consist of Transjakarta transportation services, Integrated Highway Modes, and Integrated Crossroads," Anies wrote in the Governor's Decree, quoted on Thursday, August 11th.

Anies detailed that the initial cost of the integration fare is Rp. 2,500 which will be charged to passengers when entering the bus stop, station, or passenger transport service (feeder).

After paying the initial fee, the next trip fare paid by the passenger is based on the distance traveled, which is IDR 250 per kilometer. Then, there is a maximum one-time fare of IDR 10,000.

For the record, the maximum travel time in one trip for a maximum fare of IDR 10,000 is 180 minutes or 3 hours.

In this condition, the passenger does not leave the mode of transportation since the first time he puts down the electronic payment instrument until he ends the trip by putting the payment instrument back on the tap out machine.

Furthermore, if a passenger wants to transit from one mode of transportation to another, the transfer is carried out at the available bus stop or integration station.

"If in one trip a passenger takes more than 180 minutes of travel time, then apart from the maximum number of fare as intended, the next trip fare package will be calculated," explained Anies.
