DENPASAR - The Bali Police Team arrested NS (63) former Head of the Ungasan Traditional Village Credit Institution (LPD), South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. It is suspected that the perpetrator was involved in a corruption case of Rp. 26 billion.

"As well as customers who were given loans, were not residents of the Ungasan Traditional Village," continued Kombes Bayu.

The suspect is also suspected of buying housing assets in Tanak Awu Village and Mertak Village, Central Lombok for more than the market price.

As a result of the perpetrator's actions, the Ungasan Traditional Village LPD suffered a loss of Rp. 26.8 billion. NS was also named a suspect.

"The suspect has been detained and the file will be immediately transferred to the prosecutor's office, we are still investigating the other alleged perpetrators," he said.
