JAKARTA - Hundreds of workers combined from several alliances have closed Jalan Gatot Subroto in front of the Parliament Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, so that vehicles cannot pass through that location.

On Wednesday at around 11.00 WIB, workers lined up in front of the DPR/MPR/DPD RI Building in Senayan.

They lined up while walking in front of the gates of the Parliament Building to stage a demonstration. As a result, vehicles from the Semanggi direction to Slipi, West Jakarta, cannot pass in front of the Parliament Building.

Based on the Antara report, the TransJakarta bus lane on the far right is also not accessible to buses or public transportation. However, cars from the Inner City Toll Road can still exit at the Senayan toll gate.

While walking, the workers sang some movement songs. The commando car drove right behind the crowd.

Until now, demonstrations held by workers are still running smoothly. Police officers also stood guard at several locations around the demonstrators.

Previously, officers from the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Central Jakarta appealed to the public to avoid the Senayan area and the DPR/MPR/DPD RI Complex regarding the labor action plan on Wednesday, August 10.
