JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked that all parties no longer fuss over the decision of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan regarding the naming of a regional general hospital (RSUD) into a healthy home for Jakarta.

Riza also sees, in a government policy, there are always those who criticize and appreciate.

"If there are differences in perceptions, differences of opinion, there is no need to argue or fuss. Usually, in one process there are differences, we must respect and appreciate. There is no one who thinks A or B is wrong, there is no need to sharpen it," said Riza at the DKI City Hall. , Tuesday, August 9th.

Riza admitted that Anies had considered the decision to rename a healthy house into a hospital owned by the regional government for a long time. The purpose of naming healthy homes is to encourage people to make promotive and preventive efforts for their health.

"What we want to put forward is a program for the prevention and treatment of disease. Hospitals are not only for sick people, but also for healthy people to be even healthier," he said.

For information, the healthy house for Jakarta is a manifestation of the health services of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as many as 31 hospitals. The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, also explained his reasons for making the policy.

Anies said that the change of the name of the hospital to a healthy house at a health service facility owned by the regional government was carried out to change the mindset of the community so that they not only visited when they were sick, but also in order to maintain and improve the quality of their health.

This was conveyed by Anies at the launch of the naming of a healthy house for Jakarta at Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta, Wednesday, August 3.

“So far, our hospitals are curative and rehabilitative, so people come because they are sick and want to get well. Come to the hospital to get well, but to get well you have to be sick first. Well, on the other hand, in yesterday's pandemic, we witnessed the importance of maintaining health. Therefore, the role of the Healthy House is added, namely the promotive and preventive aspects," said Anies.

Anies' decision has drawn criticism from a number of members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, particularly the PDIP and PSI factions. However, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, did not have a problem with the naming.

Because, based on Anies' previous communication to him, it was stated that the name change to a healthy house was only limited to logos or branding.

"It must be distinguished what the legal name is, and the branding name. So, the update that (Anies) conveyed to us legally remains a hospital, but the branding of the logo uses the definition of a healthy home. For us, what is important is what legal document is used," explained Budi.
