KPK Finds Documents Record Of Money Flows When Searching Plaza Summarecon Bekasi

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) finished searching Plaza Summarecon Bekasi on Monday, August 8 yesterday. From this activity, investigators found a number of items including documents containing the flow of money.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said the search was carried out to find evidence of the alleged bribery that ensnared former Yogyakarta Mayor Haryadi Suyuti.

"During the activity, the investigative team found and secured various evidences that corroborate the alleged elements of the criminal acts of the suspects," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, August 9.

"The evidence in question includes various documents regarding the alleged flow of money and electronic evidence," he continued.

Ali did not specify which notes the money referred to. However, he ensured that investigators would immediately analyze the evidence found.

"The investigative team will immediately analyze and confiscate this evidence for further confirmation on witnesses and suspects," he said.

Previously, the KPK also searched Plaza Summarecon in the East Jakarta area. During the search, investigators found evidence in the form of documents allegedly related to giving bribes and other electronic evidence.

In this case, Haryadi Suyuti and three other people have been named suspects in the bribery case for building permits. They are the Head of the Yogyakarta City Government Investment Office and PTSP Nurwidhihartana; Hariyadi's personal secretary and aide, Triyanto Budi Yuwono; and Vice President Real Estate PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Oon Nusihono.

Haryadi, who just retired from duty last May, is suspected of receiving facilitation payments related to the issuance of the Royal Kedaton Apartment Building Permit (IMB) in the Malioboro area, Yogyakarta City. In fact, this building does not meet several requirements from the results of research and studies conducted by the PUPR Service.

The discrepancy, among others, relates to the height of the building and the position of the degree of slope of the building from the road area. To facilitate the licensing, Oon allegedly gave money to Haryadi through Triyanto and Nurwidhihartana up to Rp50 million.

Then, when the IMB was finally issued, Oon came to Yogyakarta to meet Haryadi at his official residence. At that time, he handed over US$27,258 in a brown paper bag or goodie bag.

In addition, Haryadi is also suspected of receiving money from the process of issuing a development permit in the city of Yogyakarta. However, it is not known for sure how many there will be because the investigation will continue to be carried out by KPK investigators.
