KPU: Complete Documents For Hanura, Gerindra And PKB Parties

JAKARTA - Four political parties registered as candidates for the 2024 General Election to the General Election Commission (KPU) on the eighth day of the registration process, today.

Based on the results of document checking, the KPU announced that the registration files of three political parties had been declared complete.

"I will convey that the documents for the People's Conscience Party (Hanura) are declared complete, the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) registration documents are declared complete, the National Awakening Party (PKB) is declared complete," said KPU member Idham Holik at his office, Jakarta, Monday, August 8th.

Meanwhile, one political party whose registration file has not been declared complete is the Indonesian Republican Party.

"There is one party that we are currently asking to complete the documents, and we are giving the opportunity to the party until August 14, 2022 at 23:59," explained Idham.

Because the registration file has been declared complete, Hanura, PKB and Gerindra can immediately proceed to the administrative verification stage on Tuesday, August 9, tomorrow.

To note, the administrative verification process will last until September 11, 2022. On September 14, the KPU will announce which political parties have passed this administrative verification.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, Tuesday, August 9, no political parties have registered with the KPU.

The agenda for registering political parties will resume on Wednesday, August 10. There are four political parties that will register, namely the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) and three political parties that are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB).

PSI is scheduled to register at 09.00 WIB. Then, together with the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN) and the United Development Party (PPP) at 10.WIB.
