JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters denies the wild news that Inspector General Ferdy Sambo has been arrested and detained. Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was 'only' placed in a special place, this time at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters.

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo means following in the footsteps of four other Polri members who were 'detained' in the aftermath of the bloody incident that killed Brigadier J. The four people were also 'detained' in a special place.

The police did not specify the identity of the four members of the police. It was only conveyed, they were part of the 25 people being examined by the Special Inspectorate (Irsus) of the National Police.

"Irsus has determined that Inspector General FS is suspected of committing a crime, being unprofessional at the crime scene," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo at a press conference, Saturday, August 6 evening.

For information, there is a difference in duties between Irsus and the Special Team. The last division will focus on investigating alleged criminal acts.
