Police Investigate Cause Of Burning Surakarta RSJD Which Caused 2 Patients To Die

SOLO - The Surakarta Regional Police, Central Java, investigated the fire that hit the Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital that occurred in the Puntadewa Room.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Surakarta Police, AKP Umi Supriati, confirmed the fire. According to him, Surakarta Police Chief, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, has directly checked the location of the fire.

There was also a room that burned, namely the Puntadewa room which is a psychiatric intensive care room. From the information obtained, two people were reported to have died in the incident.

In addition there were three people who suffered burns. Meanwhile, the bodies of the two victims who died have been taken to Dr Moewardi Hospital, Surakarta for post-mortem.
