JAKARTA - The prosecutor said that Muhammad Attaimi or Atta Halilintar, Muhammad Rizki or Rizky Billar and Rizky Febian had received money and goods as gifts from the defendant in the Quotex fraudulent investment fraud case, Doni Salmanan.

Apart from the three, two other celebrities were also named by prosecutors. Both of them are Awwalur Rizqi Al-Firori or Alffy Rev and Reza Arap.

"The defendant has also given some money to Indonesian artists and other parties," said the team of prosecutors led by Romlah at the Bale Bandung Court, Bandung Regency, West Java, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 4.

He explained that Salaman had given Rp400 million to Febian in September 2021. The money, according to the prosecutor, was for the purchase of a drink auction, the proceeds of which were used for donation activities.

Then Arap also received money from Salmanan in the amount of Rp. 1 billion. The money, prosecutors said, was given in July 2021 when Salmanan watched a live broadcast of him playing an online game.

Then Billar also received Rp 10 million in August 2021 from Salmanan. The money was given when Billar held a wedding reception in South Jakarta.

In addition, Rev also received Rp497,811,000 from transactions made four times for project funding.

And the fifth, Halilintar, who had received a men's bag with the Cristian Dior brand from Salmanan in November 2021.

Meanwhile, during the investigation into the Salmanan case at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, a number of celebrities became witnesses and handed over the money and goods received from Salmanan to the police.

Salmanan was charged with getting Rp40 billion or an average of Rp3 billion per month from his profits as a Quotex affiliate.

The prosecutor also explained that Quotex is a binary options application whose transaction activities are not investments, but are applications that use financial products and the transaction mechanism is similar to gambling.
