NORTH LOMBOK - A dolphin protected by law, a spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) was found dead in the waters of Gili Air, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Officers together with the community also performed abdominal surgery and took samples in accordance with standard operating procedures for handling stranded mammals protected by law.

"The last treatment that was carried out on the dolphin, which was buried around the Gili Air Hamlet cemetery, this afternoon," said Heni.
