SURABAYA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi forbade sub-district, sub-district and health center employees from asking for photocopies of ID cards/KK when providing assistance to residents who are experiencing difficulties.
"If any of my subordinates ask for KTP or KK data, don't give them. I forbid the lurah, sub-district and health centers to ask for photocopies of ID cards and KK, this is a correct correction for us," said Mayor Eri Cahyadi when holding a "Ngobras" (Tasty Chat) at the Rich Palace Ballroom, Surabaya, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 2.
During the "Ngobras", one of the complaints submitted by the Healthy Surabaya Cadre (KSH) to the Mayor of Eri Cahyadi was about the Sayang Warga application and data entry and incentives for cadres of the Tile District.
Responding to complaints from KSH, Mayor Eri Cahyadi immediately provided a solution.
"When the residents' data has been entered into the Sayang Warga application, there is no need to make a report again, that's enough, let alone ask for a photocopy of the ID card," said Eri.
Mayor Eri Cahyadi explained, actually the data for the population identification number (NIK) for Low-Income People (MBR) is definitely registered in the Sayang Warga application. Therefore, the lurah, sub-district and puskesmas no longer need to ask for a copy of the ID card or family card of the residents who will be assisted.
According to him, the data collection of residents must be integrated with each other, from the village, sub-district to the relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD). There is still a manual administration system, he continued, there are things that need to be improved and evaluated, so that future services will be better.
"If you already have an application but you are still being asked for files, then there is something wrong with the system. I told all cadres, if you ask them (photocopies of ID cards and KK) don't give them. Smartcity like this must be integrated," he said.
Eri Cahyadi added, after receiving a visit from the Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes) RI, dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono on Monday (1/8), the Surabaya City Government received appreciation, for providing incentives worth Rp. 400 thousand to KSH.
"According to him (Wamenkes) this KSH incentive is the highest, even in other cities it is not available. He also said that the incentive will be presented in a meeting there (central), we don't know for sure yet," he said.
