JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto said the people of North Jakarta can arrange their own land certificates at the local Land Office (Kantah) on Saturday and Sunday at 08.00-12.00 WIB.

"Saturday and Sunday we provide services from eight to 12 hours for people who take care of themselves. This must reach the community that the Land Office is ready to serve the community," Hadi said in his statement in North Jakarta, Tuesday, August 2.

The Weekend Land Service (Plataran) complements the existing priority counter services in all Land Offices, including in North Jakarta City from Monday to Friday.

"Now, if you want to transact using a certificate, it is handled directly at the local Land Office and does not need to go through an intermediary. For example, if you want to increase your rights, you will take care of it directly," Hadi said after handing over 13 land certificates to the people of Semper Barat Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, from door to door on Tuesday.

The direct handing over of the certificates was accompanied by a number of Middle and Primary Executive Officers of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Head of the DKI Jakarta BPN Regional Office Dwi Budi Martono and Head of North Jakarta City Land Office Taufik Suroso.

While handing over the certificate to the community, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN ensured that the process of administering the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program went well and smoothly.

"I'm afraid that only a few people will say it's smooth, but those in these small alleys are made difficult. After I communicated directly, they weren't complicated, everything went smoothly, there were no problems," said Hadi.

By going directly to the field, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN also saw the situation clearly that the community really needed land certificates for legal certainty of their land rights. In addition, he can also hear directly the needs of the community.

Therefore, Hadi Tjahjanto continues to be committed to registering all land parcels, must be registered and provide certificates to the community.

"This is a way out (solution) so that I don't just look at the table," he said.

He wants to monitor in the field because the community also needs to get certainty so that there is a sense of justice for the community. "Then the right to the community, especially legal certainty, is clear, the community is happy," he said.

On the same occasion, Nuraini, one of the residents of Semper Barat who received a land certificate directly from the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN admitted that there were problems in obtaining the certificate. When investigated, it turned out that there were indeed deficiencies in completing the documents.

"Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly. Thank you to all, BPN, Pak Lurah, especially the Minister, thank you very much," said Nuraini.
