JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) dismissed the issue of the rift of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). This issue arose after PAN invited PKS and Democrats to join the coalition it filled with Golkar and PPP.

Deputy Chairperson of PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi, dismissed the issue of rifts by ensuring that the parties that are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) will register together as participants in the 2024 General Election to the KPU, Wednesday, August 3.

"This is not true. This is an answer and prediction of several statements in the media that KIB is being cracked," Viva told reporters, Tuesday, August 2.

According to Viva, the joint registration also proves that the three political parties are ready to participate in the 2024 General Election.

"KIB is ready to be a participant in the 2024 General Election and will jointly fight for an election that is fair, honest and with integrity in order to build a better Indonesian democracy," he said.

Viva also confirmed that the joint list to the KPU was at the same time showing the public that KIB was compact and solid. According to him, this cohesiveness also shows that PAN, Golkar and PPP are one heart towards the 2024 Presidential Election.

"Showing the public that KIB is in a compact, solid condition. And with one heart towards the 2024 presidential election," said Viva.

Viva emphasized that the determination of the candidate pairs for the 2024 presidential election would be determined by acclamation, deliberation, and not voting. Therefore, according to him, there are no factors that can damage the solidity of KIB.
