LPSK Is Still Waiting For When It Can Check The Psychological Condition Of Ferdy Sambo's Wife Who Is Still Severely Traumatized

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) will continue to examine the psychological condition of Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawathi, even though the family already has its own team of psychologists. Until now, LPSK has not decided whether to accept or reject it. "In principle, LPSK is also independent, yes, what is the condition of the PC also needs further investigation so that we can immediately make a decision," said Deputy Chairman of LPSK Achmadi to reporters, Tuesday, August 2. LPSK feels that it is still obligated to conduct an investigation even though the attorney for the family of Ferdy Sambo's wife, Arman Hasni, said his client was severely traumatized. Achmadi emphasized that assessment as a process of deepening the application for protection can be done anywhere.

"I have to say that LPSK needs to do further research and study on all requests from anyone. Although yesterday LPSK had also come to Mrs. PC's house, at that time it was not able to (conduct an assessment). So we are still waiting," said Achmadi.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of LPSK Edwin Partogi Pasaribu said that his party would refer to the law related to obtaining a protection assessment for each applicant. The trick, namely by conducting a psychological assessment examination directly to the person concerned.

"So we still ask to meet in person, to carry out direct psychological examination of Putri's mother," said Edwin, Tuesday, August 2.

"And that has been agreed and it is only up to LPSK to determine the time for an examination of Putri's mother," he continued.

Previously, Wife's attorney and psychologist, Ferdy Sambo, visited the LPSK building on Monday, August 1, to convey the current condition of her client, Putri Chandrawati, who was unable to fulfill the LPSK's summons. Purti's attorney, Arman Hanis explained, Putri's condition is currently still shaken and severely traumatized. Arman also handed over everything to LPSK which has the authority to decide on the protection application for his client.
