Registration Documents For 6 Political Parties Contesting In The 2024 General Elections Declared By KPU As Complete

JAKARTA - The General Elections Commission (KPU) stated that the registration documents of six political parties (parpol) are complete and can be registered.

"PDIP complete documents, PKS complete documents, PKP complete documents, Perindo complete documents, NasDem complete documents, and PBB complete documents," said KPU member Idham Holik as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 1.

Idham said that three other political parties that also registered on the first day of registration of political parties as candidates for the 2024 General Election were still in the stage of the examination process.

He said that if political parties register on the first day and are declared complete, from August 2 to September 11, 2022, they will proceed to the administrative verification stage.

Then on September 14, 2022, he said, the KPU would submit the results of the administrative verification to the political party concerned.

"So we will start the administrative verification tomorrow (2/8) for political parties that are declared complete on the first day of registration," he said.

The KPU has opened the stages of registration of political parties as candidates for the 2024 General Election. The stages will be held from August 1-14, 2022.

The political parties that registered on the first day were started by PDIP at 08.00 WIB, then PKP, PKS, Reform Party, PRIMA, Perindo, NasDem, PBB, and Pandai.

On the second day, the KPU will again open the registration process starting at 08.00 WIB - 16.00 WIB. Until Monday afternoon, August 1, 2022, said Idham, only 1 political party informed that it would register on the second day.

"We inform you that based on the notification letter we received from PKN, it will register at 13.00 pm. Until this afternoon, only 1 party plans to register on the second day," he said.
