Meeting At The Bogor Palace, Dozens Of Volunteer Organizations Wait For Jokowi's Directions Ahead Of The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Barricade 98 together with 29 volunteer representatives agreed to wait for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s direction regarding the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres). This happened after they met the number one person in Indonesia at the Bogor Palace on Friday, July 29.

"All representatives of volunteers who were present agreed to stick to the directives and wait for Jokowi's orders," said Barricade 98 Chair Benny Rhamdani in his statement, Sunday, July 31.

Benny assessed that Indonesia under the Jokowi administration had made tremendous achievements. In fact, this achievement has never been achieved by a government led by a previous president.

The infrastructure developments carried out during the Jokowi administration are 2,042 km of toll roads, 5,515 km of non-toll roads, 15 new airports and 39 repairs, 124 new ports and 12 improvements, 38 dams, irrigation: 1.1 million new hectares and 3.8 million hectares. Ha repair.

"This infrastructure that has been built is the foundation of the current economy, in the next 5 to 10 years, the benefits will be felt even more tremendously for the people of Indonesia," he said.

Barricade 98 also expressed his appreciation for President Jokowi's steps by taking a strategic role on the world stage as a peacemaker for the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

"Indonesia's attitude is like that and is considered neutral, it positions Indonesia more and more to be respected and respected by countries in the world," he concluded.
