The Murder Of A Man With A Body Wrapped In Duct Tape In Indramayu Is Revealed, The Police Claim To Have Pocketed The Identity Of The Perpetrator

INDRAMAYU - The Indramayu Resort Police, West Java, has pocketed the identity of the perpetrator of the murder of Widodo (54) whose body was found by residents wrapped in duct tape in an irrigation canal.

"We have pocketed the identity of the perpetrator of the murder," said Indramayu Police Chief AKBP Lukman Syarif in Indramayu, Antara, Sunday, July 31.

Based on the results of the autopsy, said Lukman, the body found wrapped in duct tape by residents in the irrigation canal of Pekandangan Village, Indramayu District/Regency was a murder victim.

After identification and autopsy, he continued, all of the victims' identities have now been revealed. Therefore, his party examined several witnesses, both those at the scene and their families. He also explained that the case has now been upgraded from investigation to investigation status.

"Based on the examination of the witnesses who were at the scene of the discovery of the body, the victim's family, and other witnesses as well as the results of the autopsy, we have increased the status of the investigation to an investigation," he said.

Meanwhile, Kasatreskrim Indramayu Police AKP Fitran Romajimah said that his party was currently pursuing the perpetrators of the murder.

He hopes that in the near future the officers can arrest the perpetrators because until now the team is in the field.

"Currently the Indramayu Police Satreskrim team combined with the West Java Regional Police team are in pursuit," he said.
