JAKARTA - The Diocese of Ruteng, Flores, Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province said the body of the former Bishop of Ruteng, Emeritus Mgr Hubertus Leteng who died at the Boromeus Hospital in Bandung, was buried in the Ruteng Cathedral Church.

He said it was not yet known when the body of the former Bishop of Ruteng was flown to Ruteng, Manggarai Regency.

"We are still coordinating with the Bandung Diocese and Bandung Boromeus Hospital when the bodies are flown to Ruteng, Manggarai Regency," said Fr. Alfons Segar.

The former Bishop of Ruteng Mgr Emeritus Hubertus Leteng was born January 1, 1959 in Taga, Golo Dukal Village, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency. He died at the Boromeus Hospital in Bandung from a heart attack, Sunday at 06.00 WITA.

Mgr Emeritus Hubertus Leteng was ordained a priest of Ruteng Diocese in 1988 and served as Bishop of Ruteng from 2010 to 2017.
