JAKARTA - The Pejaringan Police have arrested two robbery specialists with the initials TA and AL. Not only that, they also arrested the two snatchers.

The head of the Pejaringan Police, Kompol Ratna Quratul Aini said that the perpetrator was arrested on Jalan Pluit Timur Raya, Pejaringan, North Jakarta, Thursday, July 28, if it was evening.

"Three suspects have been arrested. The two perpetrators of TA and AL have committed 15 crimes in the areas of Pejaringan, Mangga Besar, Tubagus Angke and Tanjung Duren. For MN as a mediator," said Ratna when confirmed, Friday, July 29.

Ratna explained that the chronology of the mugging began when the victim Anjani and the witness, Dian and Silvia rode a rickshaw across the scene.

Suddenly, two perpetrators came from behind using a motorbike to take the victim's bag which was currently being held.

"The rope of the victim's bag broke, so the perpetrator ran away and the victim screamed "Thieves," he said.

Local residents who saw the incident immediately chased until the perpetrator was finally caught.

The police, who was patrolling near the scene of the incident, secured the two robbers.

"Both were taken to the Police for a urine test and the results were positive for Metafetamine," he said

Based on the confessions of the two perpetrators, the proceeds of the crime were sold to MN intermediaries. Since then the officers immediately moved and arrested MN on Thursday, July 28, at 21.30 WIB.

The perpetrators of TA and AL are subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code, which carries a threat of up to 5 years in prison. While the MN holder, is subject to Article 480 of the Criminal Code, 4 years in prison.
