Mangkunegaran Temple Holds Heirloom Carnival Dalem Night 1 Sura

SOLO - Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta will hold a Heritage Carnival on the night of 1 Sura, Friday starting at 19.00 WIB.

Mangkunegaran Temple ruler Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Arya (KGPAA) Mangkunegara X said so far preparations for the carnival had been carried out.

"We are making sure how it can go well while maintaining health protocols, it seems that the enthusiasm of the community is high. This is a good experience for the people of Solo and surrounding areas," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 29.

At the carnival, all participants in the carnival must wear traditional Javanese clothes.

"The program is open, starting at 19.00-21.30 WIB. If the route is from the pavilion, exit to the south, Pamedan, to the west, play Mangkunegaran once and then come back in," he said.

Meanwhile, the Puro Tourism Office's Acting Officer, Joko Pramudyo, said that the Pusaka Dalem Carnival was planned to be led by KRMH Roy Rahajasa Yamin as cucuk lampah.

Next will be followed by family, relatives, courtiers of Mangkunegaran, invited guests, and the general public.

Joko said after the Pusaka Dalem Carnival was held, the activity would be continued with a meditation procession which would be held at Pendapa Agung and Paringgitan Pura Mangkunegaran until Saturday (30/7) or 1 Sura in the morning.

"During the Pusaka Dalem procession, participants are not allowed to wear footwear and speak with the meaning that humans are always in contact with the earth and worship (dedicate or serve) to God Almighty in a holy state and as a form of self-control so as not to cause slander to people. another," he said.
