Sesumbar Ready To Be Detained By Police, Ahyudin ACT Has Prepared Clothes Since 2 Weeks Ago

JAKARTA - Former president and founder of Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), Ahyudin, admitted that he had prepared clothes for the past two weeks. He stated that he was ready if he was detained by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police after undergoing an investigation into the alleged misappropriation of ACT donation funds.

"Two weeks ago we prepared (clothing, ed)," said Ahyudin's lawyer, Teuku Pupun Zulkifli, when confirmed, Friday, July 29.

The reason for having made preparations for a long time, said Pupun, was because the determination of the suspect against his client had been predicted. In fact, since the stage of inspection.

"Because we have predicted (determination of suspects)," he said.

Meanwhile, the Bareskrim has scheduled an examination of Ahyudin, Ibnu Khjar, and two high-ranking officials of Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) for questioning as suspects in misappropriation of donation funds. Further investigation will determine their detention.

The inquest is scheduled to take place today or Friday, July 29. They will be questioned at the same time.

"The examination is at 13.30 WIB," said Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department, Kombes Andri Sudarmaji.

For information, in investigating the misappropriation of Boeing funds for victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane crash, ACT used Rp34 billion which was not in accordance with its allocation.

Originally, Boeing provided aid funds for victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane crash of around Rp138 billion. However, only Rp. 103 billion was used.

In this case, Ahyudin and Ibn Khajar have been named as suspects. They are former and President of ACT.

Then, investigators also named two other ACT officials as suspects. They had the initials H and NIA as members of the ACT advisors.

In this case, the suspects are suspected of Article 372 and 374 of the Criminal Code, Article 45a Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 28 Paragraph 1 of the ITE Law.

Then Article 70 Paragraph 1 and 2 in conjunction with Article 5 of Law No. 28 of 2004 concerning foundations. As well as Articles 3, 4 and 5 concerning ML and Article 55 Jo 56 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 20 years in prison.
