Brigadier J's Re-autopsy Is Complete, Commission III Of The DPR Believes That The National Police And Komnas HAM Will Be Transparent

JAKARTA - The autopsy process for Brigadier Nopryansah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J has been completed. However, the results of the autopsy have yet to be announced and will only be known a few weeks later.

Regarding the autopsy results, Deputy Commission III of the House of Representatives Adies Kadir believes the special team formed by the National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo will present the findings transparently.

"If you look at the process, it's very transparent, both Komnas HAM and the team appointed by the National Police Chief," said Adies, Thursday, July 28. Adies asked the public not to have bad thoughts while the investigation process was still ongoing. He also asked the public to wait patiently for the results of the work of the Police and external teams.

"We should just wait for the results of the work of the National Human Rights Commission and the National Police Headquarters team, so that everything is clear. Trust and don't have bad prejudices, we want to trust who else if not our own country's law enforcers," said the deputy head of the Golkar Party.

According to Adies, both the National Police and the external team will not dare to play games in investigating the case of Brigadier J's death. He warned that there should be no wild speculation during the investigation process.

"I think Komnas HAM and the team appointed by the National Police Chief do not dare to play games or speculate, because they work like in a glass aquarium. People all over the world are paying attention to their work," he said.

Adies said that in state law it is not permissible to sentence anyone before the data and facts can be proven in court. "Who will be responsible for someone who is suspected of committing a crime but it is not proven? Who will be responsible? Because this can happen to both parties," said Adies.
