JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) encourages people to take the initiative to take the COVID-19 test when they feel symptomatic.

"To maintain confidence and ensure each other's health conditions, please be active to take a COVID-19 test when you feel symptoms," said Deputy for Coordination for Health Quality Improvement and Population Development at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Agus Suprapto, as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 27.

"Given that currently there is an increase in COVID-19 cases, people need to remain vigilant, but don't panic, stay calm and please do tests for those who are symptomatic, especially for those who have comorbidities or comorbidities," he said.

According to him, people who have comorbidities need to get tested immediately so they can be treated immediately if they are confirmed positive for COVID-19.

In addition, his party also reminded the public to continue to be disciplined in implementing strict health protocols to protect themselves and those around them.

"The community still needs to be disciplined in implementing health protocols, don't ignore the prokes," he said.

The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture also invites the public to equip themselves with vaccinations starting from the first dose to the booster dose.

"For people who have not received a booster or booster dose of vaccination, please booster so that the protection is more optimal," he said.

He also reminded that currently it is still in the status of the COVID-19 pandemic so that people still have to be vigilant and should not act euphoric.
