For The Sake Of Half A Gram Of Methamphetamine In Ambon Village, Three Teenage Boys Steal A Motorbike In The Parking Lot Of A Luxury Apartment In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - Three perpetrators of motorcycle theft with the initials MS (22), TR (19) and AR (17) were desperate to carry out the theft just to buy narcotics of methamphetamine.

The three of them carried out the theft at the City Park Tower B apartment, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, a few days ago.

The three suspects entered the apartment using a motorbike and when they came out, they had to pay for parking to the guard.

The apartment did not suspect anything because the motorbikes taken by the three Yamaha Mio perpetrators in 2007 had the number B 6461 VT.

According to the confession of JO (39), the victim of the motorcycle owner, the incident began when he parked the motorcycle on Sunday night after leaving with his wife.

Until the next night, he did not check the whereabouts of his motorbike and when he was about to use it, it was no longer in the parking lot.

The victim was looking for his motorbike, but could not find his vehicle until he finally reported it to security.

The security forces helped find the two-wheeled vehicle. However, they did not find it again until they finally opened the CCTV footage.

It turned out that there were three perpetrators who took motorbikes, their faces were very clearly visible and reported the incident to the Cengkareng Police Headquarters.

"His face was very clear, especially at the parking exit, it was recorded that he wasn't wearing a mask," he said at the Mapolsek, Wednesday, July 27.

After the victim made a report, members of the Cengkareng Police managed to apprehend the three suspects.

"At first I wasn't sure, but when I was told to open the new bicycle seat, I believed it and there was a number plate inside the same as the STNK," he said.

From his confession, the perpetrator exchanged a motorbike for half a gram of methamphetamine in Ambon Village.

Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Ardhie Demastyo said that after stealing the motorbike, the three immediately took him to Ambon Village. They exchanged the victim's motorbike for 0.5 grams of methamphetamine or Rp. 800,000 to one of the dealers.

"The drugs were immediately used up by the three perpetrators. After we investigated intensively, they finally admitted to stealing the victim's motorbike," he said.

Given that drug trafficking is still rampant in Ambon village, the Sector Police chief promised to suppress the presence of methamphetamine in the area.

"Our three suspects are subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft with the threat of imprisonment for seven years," he concluded.
