JAKARTA - The attorney for the family of Brigadier J alias Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat, Jhonson Panjaitan, revealed that a number of the organs of the deceased who were suspected of being abused would be brought to Jakarta for examination.

"Some organs from Brigadier Joshua will be brought to Jakarta for examination because in Jambi it cannot be done," said Jhonson in Jambi, Wednesday, July 27.

According to Jhonson, this was based on the results of discussions delivered by the forensic team at the National Police Headquarters with an independent team and family representatives.

During the discussion, it was agreed that in order to ascertain the cause of Brigadier J's death, the organs suspected of being tortured were examined in Jakarta, not in Jambi.

Then the re-autopsy will involve many parties including the TNI, universities and appointed family doctors.

"We are doing this so that the results of the re-autopsy examination will be transparent so that it can reveal the true cause of death in this case," he explained.

During the re-autopsy, there will be a joint agreement with the National Police Headquarters team that the family will also be allowed to see directly from the excavation of the grave to its implementation.

"For the time being, the agreement is that we are still allowed to directly observe the re-autopsy of the late Brigadier Joshua," said Johnson.

Brigadier J's re-autopsy process is scheduled to start Wednesday, July 27, at around 07.00 WIB. The team will first dig the grave.

After that, Brigadier J's coffin will be taken to the Sungai Bahar General Hospital which is two kilometers from the grave site for a re-autopsy and finally reburied.
