Horror! Two-Star General Says Several Prisons In Indonesia Are Still Centers For Drug Control

JAKARTA - Deputy for the Eradication of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI, Inspector General Kenedy Rutan and Prisons in Indonesia is allegedly still controlling narcotics. Even the narcotics controllers in prisons and remand centers have networks outside the country.

This was confirmed by the Deputy for the Eradication of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Inspector General Kenedy. According to him, controllers tend to use mobile phones and social media as a means of communication in their network.

"There are a lot of them everywhere, indeed there are controllers from prisons. But we cannot mention the specific areas. But there are still controllers from prisons," Inspector General Kenedy told VOI at the DKI Jakarta BNN office, Tuesday, July 26.

However, Inspector General Kenedy did not explain in detail which areas of prisons and detention centers are prone to narcotics trafficking. "For areas specifically waiting for arrest," he said.

The Two Star General also admitted that there are still drug controllers from prisons and detention centers in Indonesia.

"They are still controlling because they have a network. Sometimes they already have the network in prison, that's the controller," he explained.

Meanwhile, according to the results of the BNN RI investigation, narcotics controllers from prisons and detention centers are still serving their sentences. Even so, the perpetrators continue to control drugs.

"Yes, there must be him (the controller at the prison has a network abroad). But he is still conducting control transactions from inside the prison," he said.
