JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto received the honorary title of Datuk Seri Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (Honor) or DGSM from Melaka, Malaysia.
The title was presented by the Governor of the State of Melaka Tun Seri Setia (Dr.) Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam to Prabowo, Tuesday, July 26.
This honorary title was started by the State of Melaka in 1983. This title is intended for individuals who make a good contribution to the State of Melaka and have a high level of position.
People who receive this title are considered to have a good relationship with the Malacca Kingdom or the Malaysian government. Recipients of the DGSM title received the title of Datuk Seri.
Prabowo also expressed his gratitude for the honorary title given by Melaka.
“Thanks to Mr. Yang Especially, Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd. Ali bin Mohd. Rustam. The one at Pertua Negeri Malacca, for the honor given to me. Awarding the title Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka, which brings the title Datuk Seri," said Prabowo.
