In Front Of TNI Commander Andika, General Singapore: Indonesia Is Always Special In My Heart

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and his wife, Hetty, made a working visit (kunker) to Singapore.

This visit was in response to the arrival of the Chief of Staff of the Singapore Army, Brigadier General David Neo, last June.

When he came to Indonesia, Brigadier David Neo admitted that this was his first international visit after being appointed Chief of Army Staff (KSAD) of Singapore.

"This is also my first international visit. Indonesia is the first country," said Brigadier David Neo to Panglima Andika, quoted from General TNI Andika Perkasa's YouTube account, Tuesday, July 26.

Brigadier David Neo considers Indonesia special. Indonesia and Singapore are considered to have close proximity as fellow ASEAN members so that they are the first countries to be visited.

"For me, Indonesia has always been special in my heart," said Brigadier David Neo.

While in Indonesia, Brigadier David Neo's discussion with Panglima Andika was also about the "Super Garuda Shield 2022" event.

The event is a joint military exercise between Indonesia as the host and Singapore, the United States, Australia and Japan.

It is planned that the 'Super Garuda Shield 2022' will be held at a number of military training locations in Indonesia, such as Amborawang, Batam Island and Baturaja on August 1-14.
