Palace Monitors Serious Investigation Of Brigadier J's Death, Coordination Through Komnas HAM

JAKARTA - The Palace is seriously monitoring the joint team's investigation into the case of Brigadier J's death at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house. The palace continues to coordinate with Komnas HAM which is also involved in the investigation of this case.

Ahmad Taufan Damanik, Head of Komnas HAM, explained that his party will coordinate with the Palace regarding the development of this case, Wednesday, July 27 tomorrow. The palace's attention makes Komnas HAM more serious in dismantling this mystery.

"This means that we will work more seriously. Not only to convince the family about what really happened, the public also wants to know, our head of state wants to know what really happened," said Ahmad Taufan Damanik in his office while waiting for the aides to the Inspector General to arrive. Sambo, Tuesday 26 July.

The results of the forensic doctor's examination conducted on Monday, July 25, will be compared with the family version of the data.

Then all of that will also be compared again with the results of the re-autopsy of Brigadier J's body. Moreover, the re-autopsy of Brigadier J is planned to involve many forensic doctors from a number of agencies.

After that is obtained, then Komnas HAM will start tracing the cause of death. This includes allegations of torture received by Brigadier J.

"We want to prove it," he continued.

"Then from our findings regarding the condition of the body, we will draw on the issue of bullets, which will relate to weapons, which will relate to who owns the weapon,"

"Then we will find out what the motive is, so there are still stages to get there, we Komnas HAM don't want to be influenced by many kinds of speculation," he said.
