Anies' Subordinates Ensure That The DLH Officers Who Rape Minors Have Been Fired

JAKARTA - The Public Relations Officer of the DKI Jakarta Environment Agency (DLH), Yogi Ikhwan, has confirmed that the DLH Personal Other Service Provider (PJLP) officer who perpetrates raping minors has been fired.

The Jakarta Bay coastal waste officer with the initials JP has been named a suspect in a rape case on a ship docked at the Kaliadem pier, Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"We have fired the PJLP person," Yogi said in a short message, Tuesday, July 26.

This subordinate of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, revealed that the dismissal of JP by the DKI DLH was in accordance with the employment contract clause in Governor Regulation Number 125 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for the Management of Other Service Providers for Individuals.

In Article 23 letter (o), it is stated that the PJLP can be terminated by the PPK before the end of the engagement period if it commits a criminal act and has the status of a suspect.

"Now the person concerned has been named a suspect," said Yogi.

As is known, JP (22) and his partner who is a crew member (ABK) with the initials SS (30) were named suspects in the case of raping minors.

The two suspects carried out their actions on the 2nd floor of the Makmur Jaya II Express ship that docked at the Kali Adem Pier, Muara Angke, North Jakarta, Wednesday, July 13, at 01.00 WIB.

The rape case started when the victim was in the vicinity of the port in the Penjaringan area. Seeing the whereabouts of the victim, the two perpetrators immediately approached him and invited him to chat.

After being persuaded by the words of the two perpetrators, the victim finally complied when he was invited to the ship so that finally the coercion occurred.

After the incident, the victim immediately went home and reported to her parents. The victim's parents immediately reported to the Sunda Kelapa Police.

Receiving the report, the Sunda Kelapa Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately secured JP and SS who were still around the scene.

The two were then taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police Headquarters and charged with Article 76 paragraph 1 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning child protection with a threat of 15 years in prison.
