MEDAN - The Medan Polrestabes Samapta Team dispersed dozens of motorcycle gang members who were in a convoy on Jalan Gatot Subroto. When disbanding the convoy, the police arrested 2 men suspected of being part of a motorcycle gang.

Kasat Sabhara Polrestabes Medan, Kompol Pardamean Hutahean said the two men arrested were MW (20) and YP (18).

Kompol Pardamean explained that the disbandment of the motorcycle gang convoy began when the police were carrying out patrols. At that time, officers saw about 20 motorbikes coming in groups from the direction of the Manhattan Mall.

"Seeing the Samapta Patrol Unit, the motorcyclists fled and turned around. Then they gave chase and a vehicle with 2 teenagers was arrested for hitting an engine rickshaw," said Kompol Pardamean, Monday, July 25.

The police searched and examined the vehicles of the two teenagers and took them to the Mako Satsamapta Polrestabes Medan.

When interrogated, both admitted to being part of the Insieme motorcycle gang.

"This group is led by a person with the initials A (24) who fled during the pursuit," he said.

From the results of the interrogation, it was revealed that the motorcycle gang was going to Jalan Setia Budi, Medan. The goal, they want to brawl with another group called SL.

"The group of teenagers before the brawl was armed with klewang and short knives and fled when they passed Patrol Officer 3C on Jalan Gatot Subroto, precisely in front of Tomang Elok," he said.

"From the statements of the two officers, they have also pocketed the identities of which 2 members were carrying sharp weapons. Both of them also fled during the pursuit," he continued.
