JAMBI - The lover of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J, Vera, is undergoing an examination at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters regarding the police shooting case which is now being handled by the National Police Headquarters on suspicion of premeditated murder.

Vera underwent an examination starting at 11.00 western Indonesia time, and ending at 18.50 western Indonesia time, Sunday, July 24, accompanied by two of her lawyers, Ramos Hutabarat and Ferdi.

"During the two-day examination, investigators asked about their last conversation," said Vera's attorney, Ramos Hutabarat, after accompanying his client to undergo an examination at the Jambi Police Headquarters, as reported by ANTARA.

Ramos said Vera was asked 32 questions during the examination. The Criminal Investigation Team of Police Headquarters is said to have only explored the questions asked by investigators previously.

In addition, Ramos said that Vera's cellphone was also confiscated by investigators to be used as evidence.

Vera's attorney, Ferdi, said that his client last communicated with Brigadier J on Friday (8/7) at 16:43 western Indonesia time, before Brigadier J's incident. Previously, Vera and Brigadier J had communicated via cellphone.

Meanwhile, Vera said that the contents of her communication with Joshua before the incident were normal.

"Before that incident, there were no irregularities, we communicated as usual," said Vera.

In Vera's eyes, Brigadier J is a good person. Previously, Friday (22/7) investigators from the National Police Headquarters examined 11 members of Joshua's family.
