JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta operates the Kota Baru Bus Stop starting Friday, July 22, 2022. This bus stop is right next to Kota Station, West Jakarta.

Head of the Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division Anang Rizkani Noor said, "There has been no change in the journey, but the final stop point no longer stops at the Old City Bus Stop.

"With the operation of the Kota Baru Bus Stop, all processes for decreasing and increasing customers will be carried out at this bus stop," Anang said in his statement, Friday, July 22.

Anang said that the Kota Baru bus stop has twice the capacity for Transjakarta customers. This bus stop can accommodate up to 100 passengers per day.

"Customer comfort is a priority, with a larger capacity, it can provide space for customers to carry out activities with Transjakarta more comfortably," he said.

Anang continued, Kota Baru Bus Stop is equipped with various facilities such as Wi-Fi which can be accessed for free, PIS LEDs to see bus arrival times, as well as vending machines to buy and refill electronic money cards (KUE).

Yesterday, Transjakarta also extended service operating hours on four buses that previously only served passengers during peak hours.

The four services are buses with the route Senen–Tanah Abang (1R), Manggarai Station–Blok M (6M), Kebayoran Lama–Jelambar (9E), and Ciputat–Tosari (S21).

"The four routes will operate from 05.00-22.00 WIB from previously only serving customers during peak hours," said Anang.

The extension of operating hours for this service, he continued, is expected to maximize service for customers who usually access these routes.
