Jokowi Highlights Brigadier J's Case, Family Asks For Last Record To Be Opened

JAKARTA - The family's attorney asked the National Police to open the recording of the last conversation of Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J before the bloody incident at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house.

This request is in line with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) which stated that the handling of the bloody incident of Brigadier J was not covered up.

"Call Detail Record (CDR) of cellphones must be opened immediately," said Brigadier J's family attorney, Johnson Pandjaitan when contacted, Friday, July 22.

Then, the family also asked for all processes handling Brigadier J to be transparent. From re-autopsy to pre-reconstruction

The goal is that the family does not doubt all the results of the investigation and investigation behind the death of Brigadier J.

"There must be transparency, accountability, fairness and immediately disclose this case," said Johnson.

On the previous occasion, the National Police, who was represented by the Head of the Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the Bhayangkara Corps was ready to work optimally and transparently to reveal the facts behind the bloody incident that killed Brigadier J.

"The team is still working optimally," said Dedi.

For the development of the handling of this case, Dedi said that currently a special team is investigating the newly discovered CCTV footage.

The CCTV camera allegedly recorded the incident around Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. So, it is hoped that this can be a bright spot for revealing the death of Brigadier J.

"The technique and method are forensic laboratories that understand. When it's finished, it will be delivered," said Dedi.
