JAKARTA - The police said that the Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) activity which caused a large crowd in Dukuh Atas, Central Jakarta by SCBD teenagers (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojonggede, Depok) did not have a permit.

"There is no permit at the location where the children hold activities," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when confirmed by reporters, Tuesday, July 19.

Komarudin again reminded the teenagers who were in the Dukuh Atas area not to hang out more than 22.00 WIB. This is to prevent the occurrence of crimes that target teenagers in the Dukuh Atas area.

"Some time ago there was a crime against teenagers there. But we managed to catch the perpetrators of these crimes," he said.

Kombes Komarudin also asked the parents of the teenagers to take part in supervising their children who were still playing late into the night.

It is hoped that parents can ask their children not to play until late at night.

"We limit children to teenagers until 22.00 WIB. After that time we ask them to return to their respective homes," he said.

Furthermore, in the aftermath of the large crowd of SCBD teenagers in the Dukuh Atas area, Central Jakarta, the Central Jakarta Health Sub-dept. (Sudinkes) will soon hold a COVID-19 swab test for teenagers who usually hang out in the area.

"It is possible that we will hold a COVID-19 swab test at the Dukuh Atas location. But we will first submit it to the leadership so that the leadership can accommodate during a meeting with the Mayor of Central Jakarta," said Section Head (Kasie) for disease prevention and control (P2P) Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Health, Budi Setiawan when confirmed by reporters, Monday, July 18.

Budi Setiawan regretted the attitude of many teenagers in the Dukuh Atas area who did not obey the health protocol (Prokes). Like a crowd, not wearing a mask which is considered to be the spread of COVID-19 cases.

"Currently, COVID-19 cases in Central Jakarta continue to climb. Even at the national level, there is also an increase," he said.
