Threatening To Fire His Subordinates At BPN If Involved In The Land Mafia, Hadi Tjahjanto: Make This Field Of Duty Our Field Of Worship

JAKARTA - The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto emphasized that he would not hesitate to give sanctions to the dismissal of his subordinates involved in the land mafia crime case.

Hadi said this while attending the disclosure of the land mafia case at the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police in Jakarta, Monday, July 18.

"If there is a violation, I will not hesitate to remove it, the legal process, and dismissal," said Hadi.

Hadi advised BPN officials to carry out their duties with full responsibility to serve the community.

"Serve the community well and with sincerity. Make this field of duty our field of worship. Assure us that we will continue to protect the workforce," said Hadi.

Previously, the Sub-Directorate of Assets and Property (Sub-Directorate of Harda) of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police had arrested 30 suspects in the land mafia case.

Based on the Antara report, 13 of the 30 suspects are employees of the National Land Agency (BPN) office. Two of the suspects are State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

Furthermore, two suspects are village heads, one suspect is in banking services, and 12 others are civilians.

The suspects are subject to Article 55 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 56 of the Criminal Code for the initial crime, namely Article 263 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 264 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 266 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 3,4,5 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia. No. 8 of 2010, and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 167 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
