TANGERANG - Firefighters (damkar) are still trying to extinguish the fire that burned the PT Papindo Abadi Pratama paralon factory on Jalan Raya France, Kosambi, Tangerang Regency. The Head of Emergency and Logistics for Tangerang Regency, Abdul Munir, said the paralon factory caught fire on Friday, July 15, at 13.00 WIB. They are still trying to put out the fire. "It has not yet been extinguished (19.02 WIB) and the blackouts are still ongoing, a total of 13 firefighters have been deployed by a combination of Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency," Abdul said when contacted by VOI, Friday, July 15. Munir said it was difficult for his party to extinguish the fire because there were a lot of flammable materials and narrow road access. "Many materials are flammable, because the materials are plastic, hoses and paralon, as well as narrow road access," he said.

Munir explained that the cause of the fire incident was due to an electrical short in the factory. However, the losses cannot be estimated. "Losses cannot be estimated, no fatalities and the cause of the fire is a short circuit," he concluded.
