JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria explained the reason why the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not yet revoked the permit for Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) operations after allegations of misappropriation of donations emerged.

The attitude shown by the DKI Provincial Government is different from the prosecution of the case that befell Holywings. Where, after the alcohol promotion case, the DKI Provincial Government immediately checked all business permits and revoked the permits in the near future.

Riza explained that this difference was caused by the investigation into the ACT case which was still being carried out by the police. Meanwhile, when Holywings' license was revoked, the police had already named a suspect.

"It's different, yes. Holywings is a suspect in the case, he has been arrested. The fault is clear. The police (ACT) are still in the process," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, July 14.

Currently, added Riza, the DKI Provincial Government is still evaluating, while waiting for the results of the police investigation. In addition, the Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) is also waiting for recommendations regarding licensing activities from the Social Service.

"The provincial government itself is evaluating and waiting for the recommendation from the Social Service to be immediately revoked. After the recommendation comes in, it will be processed immediately. In principle, this is all in process," said Riza.

He emphasized that ACT was no longer able to operate to collect donations after the revocation of the money and goods collection permit (PUB).

"The Ministry of Social Affairs has taken steps to revoke the collection permit. PPATK has also blocked accounts, yes. So, in principle, ACT is no longer operating, actually," said Riza.

For information, the operational activity permit in the form of a register of social foundations and an ACT foundation activity permit are issued by the DKI Jakarta Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP).

ACT's Operational Activity Permit from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government was issued in letter number 155/F 3/31.74.04.1003/-1.848/e/2019 which is valid until February 25, 2024.
