JAKARTA - The National Police stated that a special team formed by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo had taken the first steps to investigate the death of Brigadier J alias Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Starting from processing the crime scene (TKP) to exploring the results of the autopsy.

"We have taken the first steps, of course carrying out an in-depth investigation of the crime scene, and then investigating the autopsy results," said Inspector General of Police for General Supervision (Irwasum) of the National Police, Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto, to reporters on Wednesday, July 13.

In addition, the special team has also studied the statements of witnesses who saw or heard the series of events that led to the death of Brigadier J.

In fact, said Komjen Agung, it is possible that the special team will add other witnesses. So that later, a common thread of events will be obtained according to the facts that can be accounted for.

"Then also deepen the examination of the witnesses, then also add to the examination of witnesses that it is possible to conduct an examination to complete the legal corridor," he said.

Agung also emphasized that the newly formed special team needed time to thoroughly investigate. This is because this team prioritizes scientific crime investigation according to the direction of the National Police Chief.

"We put more emphasis on scientific crime investigation so that the results are objective and open to the public," said Agung.

As previously reported, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo formed a special team to investigate the case of Brigadier J's shooting to death by Bharada E at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

The formation of this special team to uncover the real facts. Because this case is colored by a lot of wild information.

According to him, the special team that will be formed consists of internal and external members of the National Police. So, the fact finding will be balanced.

The team was led directly by the Deputy Chief of the National Police, Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono.
