Child Prisoners Died Allegedly Persecuted, Lampung Police Check CCTV And Check Witness

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Sub-directorate 3 of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Lampung Police, visited the Class II Lampung Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) regarding the death of one of the children in conflict with the law (ABH).

The arrival of the Ditreskrimum of the Lampung Police was led by Kanit 2 Sub-Directorate 3 of the Ditreskrimum of the Lampung Police, Kompol Devi Sujana.

The Lampung Police Ditreskrimum Team conducted an examination in the detention room of the deceased ABH. This was followed by an examination of the four ABHs that caused the death of one of the local ABHs.

They also had time to ask for CCTV results and a list of picket duties to local LPKA officers. Until now, the examination is still continuing on the four ABH.

ANTARA's observation on Wednesday, July 13, apart from the arrival of the Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung, several officers from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kanwil Kemenkumham) Lampung were also seen. Their arrival conducted an examination of four ABH, officers, and local nurses.

It was previously reported that a child who lived in the Class II Lampung Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) died as a result of being allegedly abused by a fellow local ABH.

The ABH died on Tuesday, June 12, 2022 at around 17.00 WIB, while at the Ahmad Yani Hospital (RSAY) Metro.
