Bawaslu Revised Perbawaslu Answers Gap In The Multi-interpretation Of Election Law

JAKARTA - Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty said various legal gaps and gaps or multiple interpretations of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections (Pemilu) are expected to be answered with Bawaslu Regulations (Perbawaslu). Although the legal umbrella (UU) has not changed, Lolly said that in practice there are several joints that can be strengthened. This was conveyed by Loly referring to the current condition regarding election rules that still use the same regulations, namely Law no. 7/2017.

"This will require coordination with many divisions aimed at realizing good and consolidated work," Lolly said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, July 13. , as well as various other revisions to the Perbawaslu, to strengthen the work of the election organizers. Previously, Lolly said that his party was preparing a working tool for election observers.
