SIMPANG EMPAT - West Pasaman Police investigated the case of the death of a woman found in an oil palm plantation area, Koto Balingka District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra on Sunday (10/7).

"The victim was found dead on Sunday night with bruises on his face and bleeding from his mouth and nose," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Fetrizal at Simpang Empat, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 11.

The victim with the initials SM (50) works as a fried food seller.

According to him, the victim departed from his home PT BPP Air Balam, Nagari Parit, Koto Balingka District to Jorong Setia Baru to deliver fried food on Saturday (9/7/) around 07.30 WIB.

Until that evening the victim had not yet returned home and the family tried to find it together with the community around the PT BPP area.

After that, he said, on Sunday night witness Wetri (45) found the victim SM in Block i 42 Division I plantation PT. BPP unit II Air Balam, in a state of death.

At that time, the victim was found in an unnatural state of death due to bruises on the face, bleeding from the mouth and nose and the dentures worn by the victim fell off.

He explained that based on reports from the public regarding the discovery of the body, personnel from the West Pasaman Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately went to the scene of the case.

Arriving at the location, the officers immediately processed the scene and installed a "police line" and asked for information from witnesses for the purpose of investigation.

"We have evacuated the victim to the Parit Health Center, officers have also coordinated with the victim's family and the Bhayangkara Hospital for an autopsy," said AKP Fetrizal.
