JAKARTA - The UPRS Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat asked Amran's family as MS's parents to move from Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat.

According to the UPRS, the request for a move was also complained to other residents to immediately move because of the alleged legal case experienced by MS, daughter of Amran.

Responding to the UPRS statement, DKI Jakarta DPRD member Adi Kurnia Setiadi said that residents from two blocks in Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat had made a petition of support so that Amran could still live in his residential unit on the 8th floor, Block A Rusunawa.

"The petition has been carried out. I have confirmed that I have held more than 400 signatures. Anyway, Block A with Block B has already petitioned for support for Mr. Amran," said DKI Jakarta DPRD member Adi Kurnia when confirmed by VOI, Friday, July 8.

Adi further explained, MS, the daughter of Amran has undergone a sentencing process. In fact, the problems experienced by MS cannot be related to Amran's residence in the Flats.

Moreover, Adi said, Amran is a resident who was retired. Amran was the victim of the relocation of the Pulo Village eviction in 2015.

"Remember, Mr. Amran is not someone who wants to live in a flat but a person who is reduced. If you can choose, it is better for him to live in Pulo Village first. His son (MS) has been punished, he is not allowed (Amran was also subject to eviction)," he said.

Meanwhile, if the Rusunawa UPRS still insists on asking Amran to immediately vacate the flats on July 15, next week, Adi hopes that the UPRS will not make noise.

"We'll see on July 15, don't make noise. After all, the fact is that the people there don't mind Pak Amran living there. If the issue of the head of the UPRS is forcing, it's 'Wallahualam', because the Deputy Governor has already spoken," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the DKI Provincial Government would mediate parents of female students dumping babies with the manager of Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat.

The mediation, which will also include the police, is carried out to find a solution to the expulsion of families by the West Jatinegara Flat Management Unit (UPRS) due to the legal case for dumping a baby by his child.

"Later we will find the best solution. We must listen to the opinions of the family, legal apparatus, as well as from the manager, and from the community. Everything still has time. We are looking for the best solution for all of them," said Riza when met at the East Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, July 7, yesterday.

Riza revealed that currently his party is observing the legal case that befell a student with the initials MS and related to the expulsion of her parents from Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat. According to him, the child should indeed undergo a legal process. However, for his family, it is not necessarily that they must also be given social sanctions such as eviction from his place of residence. (Rizky Sulistio)
