Responding To Rocky Gerung About Ganjar, PDIP Politician: Filsuf Is Not Prohibited From Bemiring

JAKARTA - Senior PDIP politician, Praratikno, responded casually to the predictions of the founder of the Democracy Education Association (P2D), Rocky Gerung, who said that the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo would lose in 2024 if he became a presidential candidate promoted by another party.

According to Hendrawan, Rocky Gerung is not prohibited from speculating. However, he said, the public should also not immediately agree with what Rocky said. "Obsidents may speculate about anything. Filsuf is not prohibited from imagining everything," said Hendrawan, Friday, July 8.

Hendrawan assessed that in due course these predictions would change according to the situation and conditions.

Hendrawan also asked the public not to swallow Rocky's statement immediately. Because, he admitted that he did not know whether Rocky's perspective on PDIP had changed or not. However, regarding who the PDIP presidential candidate will carry, Hendrawan was reluctant to comment. He emphasized that this was the authority of the PDIP General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri. "That is the realm of consideration and decision of the chairman. Our concentration is still on efforts to navigate and mitigate economic turmoil due to this protracted Russian-Ukraine war," he said. Previously, Rocky Gerung argued that the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo would not become President in 2024 if PDIP did not carry him. He doubts that someone will choose Ganjar if not carried by the PDIP.

Because according to him, Ganjar's potential voters are PDIP voters. Rocky also believes that Megawati has taken into account that Ganjar will not be big if PDIP doesn't grow up.
