Malas Makan, Candidate For Indonesian Hajj In Arafah Alami Hipoglicemia

JAKARTA - A number of pilgrims who are prospective for Hajj receive health services at the Arafah Satellite Health Post because they experience heat discharge, fatigue and dehydration.

"There are also cases of hypoglycemia (su drop of sugar) in diabetic mellitus (DM) patients we met, because the congregation is lazy to eat," said Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Coordinator of the Arafah Health Post, Dr Erwinsyah Patta Padang in Arafah, Saudi Arabia, Thursday 7 July.

The doctor, who is called Erick, said that the congregation, who needed health services, was immediately picked up by the EMT team and taken to the Satellite Health Post. They are given the necessary intravenous therapy and treatment.

"After the congregation's condition is stable, we will return it to the group," he added.

He explained that five of the pilgrims who receive health services must be referred to the Arafah Health Post for further treatment.

In addition to the Arafah Health Post, the health team is also spread across four satellite health posts located in the Maktab-maktab of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to bring health services closer and speed up "time responses".

He detailed that the Arafah Satellite 1 Health Post is located in Maktab 4, providing health services for pilgrims from Maktab 1-15, namely embarkation of SUB 1-38, UPG 1-19, PDG 15, LOP 1-6, BTH 1-4, 8-12, BTJ 1-6, JKG 1, 29, and MES 10.

The Satellite Health Post 2 is located in Maktab 20. This post provides health services for Maktab 16-23, and 33-35, namely JKG 2-128, MES 1-9, and SOC 21-38.

Pos Kesehatan Satelit 3 terletak di Maktab 31. Pos ini memberikan pelayanan kesehatan untuk maktab 28-32 dan 41-44, yaitu PDG 1-7, SOC 1-20, dan JKS 23-44.

Meanwhile, the Satellite 4 Health Post is located in Maktab 37. This post provides health services for pilgrims who live in Maktab 24-27 and 36-40, namely PLM 2-9, SOC 39-43, JKS 1-22, BPN 1-8, and BDJ 1-7, according to Erwinsyah Patta.
