BANDUNG - The Bandung City Government ensures that there are no capacity restrictions on the Eid prayer 1443 Hijri at the mosque. As a result, 100 percent of the congregation can occupy it. Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana said, ahead of Eid al-Adha, the relaxation that had been given would not change, especially in the relaxation of religious activities. "In the previous Bandung Mayor Regulation in the form of operating hours and capacity, we will not reduce and not increase. It is still the same as during Eid al-Fitr," said Yana in Bandung, West Java, Antara, Thursday, July 7. Meanwhile, the Bandung City Government has now issued a revision of Bandung City Mayor Regulation (Perwal) Number 80 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of PPKM Level 1 COVID-19 in Bandung City. In this regulation, the change lies only in the requirements to visit public spaces. According to him, people who want to visit public spaces such as malls, shopping centers, and others, need to complete the vaccine until the third dose. Although 100 percent are still allowed, he asked the public or Muslims who will worship in mosques to continue to apply health protocols. At least, he said, they must wear masks. Meanwhile, he said that his party targets the third dose of vaccine to reach 50 percent by the end of August. According to him, monitoring using the PeduliLindung application will be increased again. "We will also intensify supervision through the Pedulilindungi application," said Yana. So far, the third dose of vaccination in Bandung has only reached 35.2 percent. The people of Bandung who were targeted for vaccination amounted to 1,952,358 people.
