Embarrassed To Be Caught Molesting His Stepson, A Man In North Sumatra Commits Suicide Drinking Grass Poison

MEDAN - Durasman Nainggolan (46), a resident of Jalan Tanah Garapan, Saentis Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, was found dead. He died after drinking poison grass because he was caught trying to rape his 13-year-old stepson.

The Head of Percut Sei Tuan Police, Kompol M Agustiawan, said the police discovered the incident after receiving information that a person had died by committing suicide by drinking poison grass Herbicide Trida X one.

"Initially the victim was taken to the nearest hospital. Because he had no money, the victim was brought back to his house. Then by officers, the victim was taken to Bhayangkara Hospital for treatment and was declared dead at 11.00," said Kompol Agustiawan, Wednesday, July 6.

The victim's reckless act of drinking poison was triggered by shame because he was caught molesting his stepson.

"Based on his wife's statement, the victim allegedly drank grass poison because of shame and fear because he had molested his 13-year-old stepdaughter," he explained.

Kompol Agustiawan revealed that the first perpetrator's lecherous act was caught by another stepdaughter with the initials D, Tuesday, July 5.

"At that time at around 04.00 WIB, the witness saw from the window of the house (obscenity, ed), then immediately shouted for his mother," he said.

The witness went straight into the house. There, the witness and the victim got into an argument.

"Because of this, the victim's wife asked her daughter. Her daughter admitted that the victim had molested her 5 times," said Kompol Agustiawan.
