JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) stated that there were 10 countries that were the biggest donors and recipients of funds from the charity Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). The country is in the region of Asia to Europe.

"PPATK sees that there are around 10 countries that are the largest in terms of senders and recipients," said PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana to reporters, Wednesday, July 6.

The ten countries include Japan, Turkey, England, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Netherlands. The biggest transaction is IDR 21 billion.

"Turkey, then Ireland, China, Palestine, then several other countries. That's the biggest one," he said.

These countries became the largest recipients and givers based on data in the period 2014 to 2022. The nominal amount reached Rp. 64 billion with 2,000 transactions.

Then, in the same period, PPATK found more than 450 times the transfer of funds abroad made by ACT. The total value reached IDR 52 billion.

However, Ivan said his party was still exploring the transaction activities. The goal is to ensure that the transfer of funds is purely for social assistance or it is a form of support for terrorism.

"There are several other transactions that need to be further investigated, especially by our friends in the relevant law enforcement officers," said Ivan.
