67 Percent Of Jakarta Residents Affected By Changes In Street Names Haven't Changed Their KTP-KK

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) is still in the process of changing population documents, namely ID cards and family cards, for residents affected by changes in 22 street names in Jakarta.

As of July 5 yesterday, there were only 959 residents who had changed their addresses on their family cards. Thus, there are still 1,950 or 67.03 percent of the target of 2,909 residents who need to adjust their population documents.

"Of the 2,909 target numbers of ID cards printed, the total number of ID cards processed is 959 or 32.97 percent," said Head of the Jakarta Dukcapil Office, Budi Awaludin, in a short message, Wednesday, July 6.

Regarding the change in KK, from 1,358 the number of print targets that had to be adjusted, the total number that had been processed was 608 KK or around 44.77 percent. There are still 750 or 55.23 percent of families who have not changed their KK.

If you look in detail per district/city, in South Jakarta, the progress of changing residents' ID cards is still 28.48 percent and that of KK is still 32.35 percent. In the Central Jakarta area, as many as 43.43 percent of residents have processed the adjustment of their ID cards and 54.49 percent have processed the adjustment of their family cards.

Then, for Central Jakarta, of the 373 targets for adjusting ID cards, only 162 or 43.43 percent are already in the process of adjusting population documents. For KK, of the 178 targets, 97 or around 54.49 percent have been processed.

Meanwhile in East Jakarta, only 19.26 percent of residents have processed the change in their ID cards and 23.01 percent of their family cards. Residents affected by the change in street names who live in West Jakarta and Kepuauan Seribu have all made the document adjustment process.

However, in North Jakarta, there are no residents at all who make document adjustments. Budi explained that affected residents did not need to change their ID cards and family cards because they lived in apartments.

"Because there is no change in the document, because the apartment area, the ID card does not mention the name of the street, it only includes the apartment block and number," he said.
